We need YOU to keep WKNA running smoothly. To avoid dictatorships, we limit terms to 2 years per office. So please bring your new blood and new ideas to the last meeting of 2016 – December 1 at the Golf Course Clubhouse!
We Need YOU!
The Executive Committee is comprised of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Each position is limited to 2 consecutive terms. Although all positions are open for election every year, the President and Treasurer must be replaced this year, so we must have some new officers!
President: Presides at all meetings of the Executive Committee, Board, and the Association. He/she represents the neighborhood in all concerns of the association, both external and internal.
Vice-President: Fulfills the duties of the President in the President’s absence and other duties as assigned by the President.
Secretary: Keeps an accurate record of all business conducted at the Association meetings, correspondence to members, and maintenance of members’ contact information.
Treasurer: Is responsible for the Association money, keeps an accurate record of receipts and expenditures, and signs checks on behalf of the association.
Standing Committees are also members of the Board. The committees for which Chairs and supporting members are needed:
- NOOCUPP Chair (taking over for Sue Hall)
- Social Committee
- Mardi Gras Committee members and volunteers (Kent is the chair for 2017 Mardi Gras) – if you have skills / talents, please come share them with your neighbors. Invitation to committee meeting coming soon.
