Meghan Delaney with VolunteerNow USA will be discussing the importance of volunteerism in Oak Cliff. Come learn techniques on how to develop, nurture and inspire community volunteerism in your neighborhood.
As Oak Cliff continues to evolve, so must its citizens. Maintaining Oak Cliff as the amazing and highly desired urban community that we all know and love requires effort and commitment. According to Georgie Rasco with the Neighborhood Alliance of Oklahoma City, “living in a safe and beautiful neighborhood is a responsibility, not a right.” Rasco will be speaking on how to empower citizens with the skills, resources and connections necessary to improve their neighborhoods and the lives of everyone within that community.
